My Thoughts on Bloodborne

After 6 months of collecting dust my Ps4 is finally getting some life thanks to this game. With me loving the Demon and Dark Souls game. This was a instant buy for me.After beating it twice I want to give my thoughts on this game.

After putting about 70 hrs into this game there are a lot of things I like about it. The overall world is nice and creepy. The NPC's are either crazy, sick or just sad (poor poor little girl). Others are creeps like Patches the Spider or this beggar in the forbidden woods (who I think kills other Npc's) who is also a secret boss (I think). The only Npc who isn't crazy is this whore (don't know her name although I think it's Arianna since it's the special blood she gives you and plus I killed her by accident when i saw this enemy right next to her) I love how the people become worse as you progress through the game if you choose to revisit them

The weapons are limited but I do get a kick out of them like this Cane that switches to whip or Ludwigs sword that also changes into a greatsword. I never really switch weapons that much as I only stuck with the Saw Cleaver and now only just got a Scythe (which I'm gonna have fun using)

Your secondary weapon is guns that are weak in power but are used to stun enemies for a fist attack that deal great damage or stagger them when your regaining your stamina. You can switch between a regular pistol, flamethrower, and cannon.

Your way of defending yourself is using you speed to sidestep, backstep and roll out of enemies attack and I like this approach. Armor doesn't have that much weight to them so your hunter is speedy.

Rings are gone but we get Runes which are used to boost either your HP, stamina, defense or other stats.

Blood echoes serves as your way to buy items, weapons, and level up.  You get them by killing enemies or using special items.

I also hear that people complain about the load times, but I think I'm the only one but my load times aren't that long. 15 seconds 20 at most. Maybe I'm a lucky one.

Overall I like the game and really it's nothing more then a souls game. but I think this is a really easy game. The challenge is lacking and it gets no better in New game + or ++. I think they wanted to cater to people who don't usually play these type of games and that's fine but they should have at least added two modes. One for newcomers or those who wanted a easier time and one for veteran souls players

I can't be the only Souls player to realize this. The Bosses are too easy. The One Reborn, Wet Nurse, Rom, even Gehrman, I can go on. They are all supposed to have three stages when they lose enough HP. but they don't get any harder (or hit harder even in new game plus)

It's also really easy to gain huge amounts of blood echoes in this game which make leveling up a breeze. There was a point in the game where I even chose not to level just to get a challenge and even then it didn't help.

Even the Chalice Rituals are piss easy

Look I'm not saying that this is a bad game. I just think it far too easy coming from Software.Dark Souls 2 was easier but it did get harder as you beat the game more and more. Bloodborne doesn't have that challenge I'm looking for but it is great to explore the world and discover new things and areas I've haven't found yet. Plus I want to platinum this game.

I can recommend this to people who want to get into the Souls games. It's a nice a creepy world and one reason to finally play the Ps4 (sorry One and WiiU) Go out and grab this if your looking for a game with a creepy setting and challenge
